The next big role-playing game from inXile Entertainment will use the new Unreal Engine 5. Studio boss Brian Fargo recently announced this on Twitter. However, further details on the project are still rare.

Since the beginning of this year at the latest, it has been known that the developer studio inXile Entertainment is working on a large-scale NextGen role-playing game . The project is developed using the modern Unreal Engine 5 . This was recently announced by studio boss Brian Fargo on multiple requests from fans via Twitter.

“We’ve had a lot of questions about our NextGen RPG, and I can confirm that it will use Unreal Engine 5.”

However, no further details about the large NextGen role-playing game, which will appear for the Xbox Series X, among other things, are still known. The only thing that is certain is that the software Houdini will provide procedurally generated worlds. It could take some time before we learn more about the project. InXile Entertainment is currently busy with the completion of Wasteland 3, which is currently planned to be launched on August 28, 2020. We’ll keep you up to date.
